Play Vault: "When we first heard about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon we all thought it was a massive April Fools joke. However, when achievement lists and box art leaked it all became real. Then we were told it would be a standalone downloadable game and would not require Far Cry 3 to play. When we got to see Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon it looked extremely crazy, which was great especially as not many developers take risks like this one."

The first thing youll notice from Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is that it comes with a radically different setting. Not only it looks like a game on the NES, but its also layered on with 80s cartoon and movie gimmicks, neon lights, and an utterly sweet soundtrack from Powerglove. As such, it comes with a completely new story and new characters. Also remember that its a standalone title, so you do not need to own the original Far Cry 3 in order to play this game.
